![]() All of the non-IC cities kinda look the same which is rather boring. The character models are hilariously bad though and severely distracting even when you consider the age of the game. The biome lends itself to more diversity which is nice. Oblivion has some things going for it too The Imperial City gives a sense of massive scale and wonder that the likes of Solitude are unable to offer, and the plot seems a bit more urgent than it is in Skyrim (you never feel like Alduin is gonna pop up and fuck shit up like the gates could). The guild quests and major quest trees in general seem a bit short but they all have their moments. ![]() ![]() ![]() I think Skyrim is actually a pretty diverse region considering its climate other than the frozen shithole parts to the north like Dawnstar and Winterhold the map is pretty beautiful to observe and explore. I know the vanilla UI gets a lot of flack but I really appreciate it after playing other games like Oblivion, Dragon's Dogma, Fable etc. Skyrim really cleaned out a lot of the clunky BS that makes RPG's a chore for casual/regular gamers.
